Restyled Past, Present, Future Ring
This original ring was given by the client's husband to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary. It is a typical three-stone ring, but with a 1.51ct Canary diamond in the center.
This picture of sample & inspiration rings with the client's changes. The C.A.D. designer had to incorporate design elements from all these rings to make her a ring of her dreams!
Due to the difficult nature of the design, having the ring made by Computer Aided Design (C.A.D.) created the best results for the client.
This is the proof sent for client & designer approval. It has all the specifications for the new ring.
Top view of casting. As you can see, this ring was actually cast in FIVE separate pieces & then hand assembled!

Restyled Wedding Ring
After years of marriage & a couple of children, the client lost the round diamond out of her wedding ring & couldn't find it. Her husband decided to replace the diamond with a larger one & surprise her for Valentine's Day. We redesigned the ring to more closely match her current tastes by using a Princess cut diamond for the center stone & by changing the ring from being all 14K yellow gold to two tone - white & yellow gold.
The new top part of the ring was carved out of wax to hold the new larger diamond in a semi-bezel type setting in order to protect the stone from coming loose & to give the ring a more contemporary, modern look.
The finished ring was quite spectacular! It featured a 1ct Princess cut diamond center stone set off center, point to point, in 14K white gold that she really loved!
